Rolling Stones Bergen & Horsens 1st and 3 Sept '06, DVD cuts-by-amm
Seems like we have to wait for some good stuff from the 2 last Euro Shows - Bergen and Horsens (Sept 1 & 3), so here are what I was able to get with my Casio Exlime 600P camera.
BE WARNED !! The clips are shot from the the crowd. There are some noise, some pushing, heads, arms and so. Still you'll get a good feeling of how fantastic the shows was. The sound is not so bad, nearly good, but it is in mono. The pouring "all show" rain in Bergen did not make it easier. Horsens cuts are much better !
Some screenshots will be here and artwork will follow later - tonight or tomorrow. All depending on how easy it is to get this started.
Hope it all the info needed are here !
All the Best !
Koengen, Bergen, Norway Friday Sept. 1, 2006 - Total time: 9:48 All Bergen cuts are w/many heads & pushing, but sound is quite OK

notes: The filmer didn't use the zoom-function - so for most of the time you see the entire stage with the big screen in the center of your monitor. it seems that he stood very near to the B-stage as it is filmed close-up and I think again without zooming in.
I will post a few images below - a few good (that's how I call them at least) and a few bad ones so that you may get an idea.
my very personal conclusion: I've seen better private recordings but for me it's still better than many of the other private recordings around. if you're looking for very good to excellent stuff don't touch this one - otherwise I recommend it - it's fun and it's a gig we still don't have an audio recording from.
lineage: I don't know who filmed this but what I can say and found out with TmpGenc and VirtualDubMode:
unknown camera -> trasfered to a PC -> DVD created and authored with MAGIX software -> DVD-R -> DVD-R -> DVD-Decrypter -> YOU
PAL 768x576 25 fps CBR (3000 kbit/sec)
no idea how I could find out details about the sound as I can't open it with TmpGencAuthor and as I'm not able to demux the sound with VirtualDubMode - sorry!
good sound anyway - hope that helps:-)

running time: ~ 80 minutes
so far the most complete DVD of the European leg of the ABB-tour - I hope you'll enjoy!
I didn't ripp tracks which had cuts which were: Tumbling Dice, Midnight Rambler, Miss You, Start Me Up, Honky Tonk Women and Paint It Black and I didn't rip Rough Justice as the person filming the show was standing near the b-stage (where RJ was played) and the sound wasn't good at all and not worth making it to the audio recording.
I also ripp the sound of rollingstones.com video of Paint It Black from Horsens and included it. Too make the recording a bit more enjoyable I put fades in and fades out wherever it was needed using Nero Wave Editor.
Sound quality is not crystal clear, but I think it's nice to have for collectors as well as people who went to the show (I'm one of them).
