Was down i Helsinki over the weekend and saw Bon Jovi on Friday 17th June. Rain was pooring down and I was lucky to have a seat in the stands under the roof. Jon said he loves Helsinki at it is nice to take a shower with 44 thousand friends. Still they put on a fantastic show. The boyz just love Helsinki and there is alwasy a good crowd i Finland on their gigs. This time they spent three or four days in Helsinki before going to Horsens in Denmark on the same day of that gig.
Good crowd, a very good setlist, fantastic videoscreen and a band with charisma. Sorry to say but Stones cannot pull off a gig like that any more......
I saw a documentery on swedish TV a couple of days ago about Bon Jovi. Thay sad that one of the the biggest dreams they have left in life after more than 25 years as a band was that someday The Rolling Stones gave them a call and ask if they wanna do a job toghter ;D

Yep, I saw the program as well. They really do think that Stones are the greates of them all and they show full respect for them. This is done on stage as well, the last tour they did Start Me Up, JJF and Devil as a tribute to the Stones.
Last week in Helsinki they did another great tribute: Roadhouse Blues by the Doors
You may think whatever of their music, good or bad, byt Bon Jovi sure knows their roots and respect it
