Hello fellow Stones fans
This week May 9th to May 14th has been a blast. All emotions that you ever could imagine has been coming and going, coming and going. Total disaster to almost nervous breakdown to total nirvana of happiness
It all begun on Tuesday. Trying to find as many good web radio stations as possible to be able to follow the press conference. I managed to find a few and got to hear the songs live. Some fellow NSV guys managed to get the live pictures of both the songs and the PC
The performance was a blast. Really good and promising for the future.
The PC was a joke with all stupid questions once again. Cannot remember if there has anytime in the bands history been a PC with good questions by the way. It was fun to watch the band make jokes about the press guys. I just cannot understand why the world press cannot send one single guy to a Stones PC that know something about the band and could ask good questions. Can it actually be so that there is not one single journalist out there that actually is a dedicated Stones fan??
And then something we kind of did not know about, they let the first set of tickets on sale right during the PC

Ok, by Thursday we had kind of figured out most of the Pre sales strategy planned by Ticketmaster (Stones)
Next set of tickets for Boston August 21st went on sale. NSV was geared up with memberships and presale codes, fast internet connections and all possible preparations.
Ticket sale time getting close and Villen and myself are sitting and refreshing the TM page like anything. Pre registration at TM already taken care of on Wednesday. BANG WE ARE IN Rolling Stones - search Fenway August 21st - pick 4 tickets - 163 usd - member code - BANG Figure out the code text Waiting waiting waiting waiting BAAANG YESSSS HERE WE GOOOO Hmmmm what does it say "Tickets not available"
We were both Ville and myself like one nano second after go live hitting the buttons BUT no no no Well, sitting and refreshing and hitting the codes, buttons, what ever for an other hour finally convinced us that the train already left the station and we where not on it

Trying to recover from the chock experienced the day before. Some 100-120 mails in between NSV members. How are we going to pull through this project of ours? Lots of new strategy planning on how to reache our goals: To be at the opening gig of the new tour Five of us living in Sweden and one in Finland need some sofisticated strategy to reach the goal as all activities are going on on the other side of the Atlantic.

Still a diehard dedicated NSV Nordic Stones Vikings Club - but NOOOOOOOOO tickets for BOSTON ON STAGE
e-bay, tickets at 1000 dollars a piece.... naaaah
More strategic talks
We are still six hours ahead of US east coast in Sweden and seven hrs ahead in Finland, so there is still some time for planning
And then, yes then we find out that the SECOND Fenway gig is going on public sale today (naturally we did know about the gig but on sale time did surprice us) and on the same time as the first one. ohho ohho . What, Pre sale is on AFTER the public sale....Hmmm....
NEW STRATEGY is worked out immediately
Now NSV is shifting into high gear. A phone conference line is established so that we all can communicate directly. One living in Göteborg Sw, one in Shellefteå Sw, one in Haparanda Sw and one in Vasa Fi It is decided that Rob and Ville will still hit 21st and Mr V and Jan Richards (me) will hit 23rd. We have also established more support from Mr Stones Finland Juha Kakkuri in Helsinki. He is also on line hitting TM
TM on line
We are hitting the buttons (NOT between the buttons) like anything.
Startegy is that Rob and Ville are hitting 21st and MrV and myself are hitting 23rd.
Choose date 3 tickets at 163 (still need to think about the family, I need to Give them shelter but still I almost did hit the 450 option) checkword AND THEN waiting waiting 3 minutes 5 minutes BANG "no tickets available"
Back, try again, and telephone conference still open.... suddenly Veijo is shouthing like YEEEEEES I HAVE 3 TICKETS for 23rd YEEEEES WAY TO GO VEIJO
At this point then half ot the NSV is going to Boston and we are having tickets for 23rd.
Refreshing is continuing.
Now I try with ONE pc for 23rd.................YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES Jan Richards is going nuts Confirm
4 down 2 to go
Refreshing .... nooo..... Refreshing .... no....rf... nooo YYEEEEEEEES ONE MORE IN THE BAG Jan Richards is going nuts again
5 down one to go
Refreshing .... nooo..... Refreshing .... no....rf... nooo YYEEEEEEEES ONE MORE IN THE BAG and Jan Richards got one again ;D
Awraait. About 15 minutes after go live on ticket sale we have landed six tickets for Da Nordic Stones Vikings for Boston Fenway 23rd.
[glow=red,2,300]NSV IS GOING TO DA STATES TO SEE DA ROLLING STONES[/glow]
The guys hitting 21st fail to get tickets = Just too big demand.... We still hit 21st an hour or two before we finally have to face the fact that 21st is sold out.
