Hi I am here because I have what I imagine is a rare Rolling Stones record. I looked on your board of rare records but did not see it there. It is a Factory Sample of The Rolling Stones which is stamped with the following numbers (on the label)
XARL 6271 2A LK 6405 - the other side is the same only with 6272 in place of 6271.
It states on the label 'This pressing is not necessarily representative of the finished record and must not be used for review purposes'
So is it rare ?? I understand that one track on it was not on the released record but, having no record player at present, cannot say which one. I would be interested in views. For a matter of interest it was given to my wife in 1964 by someone who I believe worked for Decca, but not being a fan it was not played very much
