Well Done B'man, You've landed a super deal alright. Am I right in saying that these Test's were done for the Virgin Vinyl 180g series. If you check out some of the audio/vinyl sites the "experts" say these Test's are the best listening of any Stones vinyl and are as good if not better than the Japanese MFSL (which are pretty bloody good). They should also be the heaviest of any pressings. Do they feel that way. I think you are going to have to treat yourself and open up and have a listen. While you are at it take a picture of the label for Steffie !! Congrates
Ps What happened to the Some Girls , I wonder !..................
It would be interesting to see what the deadwax details are on these. I find in fasinating the different pressing dates of each LP plus based on these dates and the details on the eil.com sale is these test's were pressed 2 years before the actual release of the Virgin vinyl series. Also the ones you have purchased B'man , why are they is shrinkfilm. You never see test pressing's in shrink. Could they of been used also as a sample / demo by Virgin for whatever reason.
Here is another rare Exile pressing. It is a Globus pressing on green vinyl. To my knowledge this pressing has never been posted on Ebay. My belief is that this is rarer than the pink pressing and the multi-wax pressings.
I have ordered the green and red multi wax exile globus from a German recordstore and i received today this double green pressings. Mistake from the record store. I have not decided yet if i keep it or send it back.
Hi Steffie, My strong advice is to KEEP the double green Globus pressing of EOMS. In my experience it is the hardest Globus pressing to find. It might not look as nice as a multi-wax pressing, but it is much rarer.
Thanks B-man, i have decided to keep it! Thanks for the info!

No I stuffed up John, thought I had .I was on my way going back to it , I did see it ended early after previously being a straight auction . I thought I saved all images but only this one. But am I right that this is a US . It is not Israel , Japan, Argentina or German. I think that is all the white labels from memory. Maybe someone else has the listing. Bloody nice pressing what I saw. kILLER ! Cheers

Peter, I found it. The seller is in Malaysia, so I am a bit suspect that it is a USA pressing, but cant say for certain, as I cant see the matrix numbers in the dead wax, But you can get the rest of the pics here:
It is highly unusual to have those partial printed tongue logos on it, though. But I have been collecting USA label LPs for half a century, and have NEVER seen or heard of it before. Never mentioned by any USA collectors I know, and its never been in any price guide as a USA variation. This one leaves me scratching my head. Thanks for finding it though. Glad just to have the pics...Perhaps other collectors can chime in on it. Best,
