Agree with Rik, very nice never seen green version. Am I right in saying B'man that the true official licenced Globus coloured vinyl's are the plain coloured ie pink , blues' and greens for Sticky, Exile and Goats Head Soup only.
Then the more recent Splattered coloured versions of Sticky and Exile are the work of those cunning bootleggers trying to pass them off as the original licenced product. Still Some of the nicest coloured LP collectables.

I think Rik had the "globus collectors" like B'man in a fluster for a minute with the 1995 date of the splatter's. There are definite Boot's, replica's etc, whatever you want to call them.(very good though) . They constantly are sold by sellers who also sell the other recent LP non authorised copies of 'Shine a Light" , "Ladies & Gentlemen" and now the Israel Aftermath etc etc .
The irony is with the globus pressing's the Black regular copies are infact the rarest as requested by Bolexman.
Not really a version but I was somewhat staggered to see arguably the greatest rock 'n' roll album (deluxe edition!) by unarguably the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world on sale today in my local Sainsbury for a measly 2gbp! That's the kind of money you lose down the sofa and don't bother looking for!
Hi Pascal, I didn't buy it! As I said in another thread, I already have it and I don't need two! But you're right, bargain of the year! I suppose if a younger person than us (!) should see it at that price they might be tempted to give it a spin and we might find ourselves with a new devotee. But as far as I'm concerned, "Exile" is priceless, expanded or not!
Wow, the longbox looks great! To use an oft-repeated phrase from around here, I have never seen one of these before! (in this case an Exile On Main St longbox). Very cool indeed, congrats! ...Do you store it flat?
Second that Never seen before. The print on the CD looks very "80's"
Hi Kitan, No booklet with the Longbox. Should there be one. I think they are from 1985 / 1986. I don't know enough about them. The Rolling stones records longboxes are stunning . Some Girls and IORR are great . I will drag them out and photograph. I think The abco versions are more drab with a small image of the album on a black box. Hopefully other members will have more info on them and what was available...
