Next LP up on my DECCA project is Let It Bleed. I have a question regarding covers on it. Most of the covers existing have "Sleeve printed in England by Upton Printing Group". All covers that I have made by Upton do also have the hole for Mono / Stereo in the upper right corner. Can ou have a look on your copies. Can you find any Upton covers that do not have the hole there?
Another LIB question. The original inner bag had the London Bach Choir first included, then sensored with the black bar printed on it. Then later the bag print was corrected so that The London Bach Choir was not there at all. This is the situation on the Stereo bags. But what about Mono bags? The original and the one with the black cover up print is existing but I have never seen a mono bag of the corrected version where the Choir is missing.
Can you have a look in your piles of LIB Mono LP's and see if you can find a corrected Mono version.

I have had a number of the Mono Bleeds over the years. All the inners were either the old one, or the blocked out ones. As it was deleted so soon, I doubt if they ever got around to correcting that. At least, I have never documented it. As far as the printing info, my 1-A/1-A Mono bleed only has "Printed in England" on it. No company listed. Boxed Decca Mono has the above Upton note.. Same variations with stereo versions, although, the covers are identical, if not for the color hole that shows the inner. My black label Jamaican FFRR London, also only states "Printed in England".
